WITH just under six weeks to local government election day on 19 March, Neil Meiklejohn is declaring his commitment to nominate again for council.
The sitting councillor said he was motivated to continue serving the region.
“I see it as a real privilege and I am humbled by the overwhelming support of people who have encouraged me to continue in my council role,” he said.
Neil said he was a very active community volunteer and he believed this helped keep him connected to the community.
His community involvement includes being patron of the Warwick Men’s Shed, regional leader in the Scouting movement, active involvement with the Cancer Council Southern Downs Relay for Life, committee member of the Warwick Safe Haven (domestic violence support group) and patron of the Warwick Swimming Club.
