“This show could not go ahead without the generosity of the people who give their time, sponsorship, trophies and donations.
“During the year we had the sad loss of our past secretary and treasurer, Maureen Shearing. Maureen’s enormous contribution to show work will be sadly missed.
“The show society has been very busy this year, with the grounds being used for an increasing number of functions, from personal parties to a week-long country music festival there is hardly a week passes without something going on.
“The show society also strives to support as many of the local clubs as possible.
“With all this in mind we are keen to increase our volunteer workforce in all sectors from office work, to canteen to general maintenance.
