WARWICK and the people of the Southern Downs turned out in droves on Friday night to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the March of the Dungarees.
The event, hosted by poet Marco Gliori, included addresses by Mayor Peter Blundell, MP Stirling Hinchcliffe and Lieutenant Colonel Michael Thomas before a parade from the town hall along Palmerin Street, Fitzroy, Guy and Grafton – returning to the town hall.
The march was followed by a ceremony and performance inside the hall.
Terry West was there to capture the event.
