MEN, women and children from all walks of life were out in force on Thursday night in Warwick for a walk and candle-light vigil against domestic violence.
More than 50 people turned out for the event which was a joint effort between Zonta, Safe Haven and the Peace Project.
Southern Downs Regional Council CEO David Keenan and QPS representative Shane Reid were keynote speakers at the event.
The walk marked the end of 16 days of activism for Zonta which was aimed at raising awareness about domestic violence.
It was the third and final major event for the Zonta Club which included the screening of a film on Australian of the year Rosie Batty and a Zonta Breakfast at the RSL club.
