SANTA, a reindeer or two and lots of friends made for a colourful sight in Warwick on Saturday morning.
Big crowds lined the streets to see the man in red arrive pulled by reindeer and followed by a live Nativity scene, complete with camels and wise men, as well as lots of other colourful and excited locals.
It is the second year that the event has been hosted by the Warwick Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Rose City Shoppingworld.
Rose City marketing manager and chamber representative Louise de Lissa hailed the fun event as a big success.
“There was a lot more people in the main street,” she said.
“We are really happy. It went off without a hitch.”
She said the crowd was up to six deep around Santa’s reindeer display and many people took advantage of the event to have their Christmas photographs taken that day.
Also on the spot was photographer Terry West who captured lots of the colour and excitement of the day.
