Warwick State High School’s Mt Gordon campus is having a yard sale this week.
The children at the school have been learning real world skills with construction and work experience.
They are selling furniture, timber, bike frames, a trampoline, speakers, chairs, basketball equipment and building project equipment.
They will also be selling items, mainly furniture, handmade by the boys.
Teacher Aide Cathy Rosetta said it was a learning experience for the children.
“They’ve got it really well set up. They’ve been working hard out here,” she said.
“It’s giving them a good retail education. They’re learning retail skills and social skills.”
The yard sale will continue on Thursday and Friday from 10am-3pm.
