On Saturday sometime after 10.30pm, a man heard his car door slam at his residence on Canning Street.
The car was parked in the driveway unlocked and the man’s wallet was stolen.
Then in the early hours of the morning on Percy Street, man was sleeping in his unlocked car between 2am and 6am when he woke to find his wallet and sunglasses stolen.
Warwick police officer in charge Jamie Deacon said common sense was needed in securing belongings in vehicles.
“We would like to remind everyone to secure vehicles properly. Don’t leave valuables in plain sight,” he said.
