Man blows three times over limit

A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with high-range drink driving after blowing more than three times the legal limit in Warwick on Saturday night.
The driver was then breathalysed where he blew 0.166 and was arrested.
A later body search revealed he was also carrying drugs and he was charged with possession.

Motorbike crash in Mount Tully
ON Friday night a 48-year-old man riding a motorbike is believed to have collided with a kangaroo resulting in substantial leg injuries.
The incident occurred on Mount Tully Road, Mount Tully, with the man suspected to be under the influence of drugs. An associate of the man is also alleged to have ridden the motorbike home after the incident without a licence.
Police later located the man where he was alleged to be found in possession of cannabis and a smoking utensil. The man was charged with drug offences and is expected to also be charged with disqualified driving.

Drivers refuse drug tests
TWO drivers in Stanthorpe have refused to provide samples for drug testing, resulting in charges.
On Saturday night an 18-year-old Wynnum man was stopped on High Street and refused to supply a specimen for a drug test. After being taken back to Stanthorpe Police Station the man again refused resulting in being charged with failing to provide the relevant specimen and he had his driver’s licence immediately suspended.
A 30-year-old woman was changed with the same offence on Sunday afternoon after being stopped at Wallangarra Road and refusing to be drug tested.
