PIGS flew – well around the track – at the annual Sandy Creek Pub Pig Races on Saturday.
They attracted the punters at the annual fundraising event despite a bit of a damp track.
The local event raises money for Careflight and the local school and has proven a successful day over the past few years.
But then pig racing seems to be the in-thing at the moment with Kevin ‘The Pig Whisperer’ Kiley expecting his pigs Noah’s Thoroughbred Racing Pigs to do 150 gigs around Australia this year.
Kev said the Sandy Creek event, though, is always a favourite and has raised a lot of money for the local charities over the years.
