Police in hunt for armed robber

A MAN is on the run after holding up a service station at Warwick early this morning.
Police say a man armed with a rifle entered the service station on Wallace Street about 3am after the main door was unlocked for another customer.
He then forced the customer to lie on the floor and demanded money and cigarettes.
The attendant complied and the offender fled the scene.
Police were called to the area and conducted a search but were unable to locate the robber.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 160cm to 170cm tall. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark sweatshirt, multi-coloured beanie and white gloves.
There is no further information available at this stage. Investigations are continuing.
