YOU name and they probably had it at this year’s Ryanie for Tyres Show and Shine Day at Warwick at the weekend.
The event, now in it’s 10th year, attracted vehicles from all over Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.
“We had more than 100 cars and other vehicles and more than 1500 people for the morning show and shine,” organiser Brendan Ryan said.
“Then there were 130 for the dance and auction at the Golf Club in the evening – we could have sold even more tickets if we’d had the room.”
Brendan said it looked like the two events raised more than $15,000 for Blue Care Warwick and Warwick Dementia. He said the events continued to get bigger and bigger and had now raised more than $90,000 for the local charities.
He said this year’s show and shine had attracted a lot of vehicles that had never been to the event before.
The local drag club put on a static display and there was everything from restored army jeeps to brand new trucks and plenty of prestige vehicles.
