TRANQUIL beauty surrounds the visitor at Stanthorpe’s new-look Cherry Lane Nursery on Sugarloaf Road.
Stanthorpe local and new owner Morwenna Harslett has been hard at work putting her own personal touches on this already well-established business.
She said returning customers may notice a few changes that have been made. The new look and layout includes peaceful, reflective views over the spring water dam.
There are clearly and spaciously arranged plant groups and an increased range of Australian native plants, in time to prepare your own Australia Day garden.
“I took ownership on 18 December last year and many customers have already noticed small changes that have been made such as opening the shade that blocked the view of the lake,” Morwenna said.
“One customer had been coming here for a couple of years and didn’t know it was there.”
The extensive gardens at Cherry Lane Nursery have been used for wedding ceremonies and the like in the past and Morwenna plans to open them again for public viewing.
Other plans include extensive growth of the native plant range.
