A 72-YEAR-OLD man has been issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way after an accident at the corner of Guy and Albert streets at about 5.45pm on 13 January.
A maxi taxi ended on its side after the collision with a white 4WD. No serious injuries occurred in the incident.

Drunks caught
SEVERAL drink drivers earned court appearances after being intercepted by police in Warwick over the past week.
At 4.30am on Saturday 18 January a 26-year-old Maryvale man was caught in Hollins Court, Warwick. He recorded a .096 per cent Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) and was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Warwick Magistrates’ Court.
At 10.30pm on Saturday, a 32-year-old Warwick male was stopped by police in East Street, where he blew .148 per cent BAC.
At 8.30pm on Friday 17 January a 34-year-old Warwick man was pulled over in Palmerin Street where he recorded a BAC of .148 per cent.
At 1am on Saturday a 50-year-old man from Clifton was stopped in Helene St Warwick. He recorded a BAC of .10 per cent, twice the legal limit.

Lucky escape
FORTUNATELY there were no serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Warwick at about midday on Saturday 18 January.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Grafton and Stewart streets.
Ambulance officers attended and assessed a child who was in one of the vehicles, but further medical attention was not required.
