Man killed in crash

A MAN was killed and three others injured after a two-vehicle crash at Glen Aplin on Tuesday afternoon.
The four men were in a station wagon, which was turning into a property off the New England Highway about 3.30pm, when it collided with an oncoming truck.
A 24-year-old man, a passenger in the station wagon, died at the scene.
Two other male passengers of the station wagon, aged 26 and 29, were transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital by helicopter in a serious but stable condition.
They were suffering head, neck and chest injuries.
The 25-year-old male driver was taken to Stanthorpe Hospital for medical treatment.
The occupants of the truck were uninjured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, police said.
