THREE people are lucky to be alive after they escaped a horror head-on accident 30km west of Warwick near Durakai east of Karara on Monday.
Police reports said a utility and a campervan collided on the Cunningham Highway at about 11am.
The man driving the utility received a fractured leg and chest injuries, while another man driving the campervan received minor injuries. A female passenger in the campervan was also shaken but uninjured.
